American citizen divorcing illegal alien with children I have been married to an illegal alien for fifteen years and we have three biological children together. I'm filing for a divorce and I'm asking for child support. He keeps threatening me that he's not gonna pay because he is not and citizen and how he will leave the country. What should I do? Should I call immigration service ? Can he take my children back to his country without my knowledge? I am scared for my children what should I do? Please help? |

1) Turn him over to INS. 2) Some countries have agreements to uphold a US court's support order. 3) Hide the kids' passports, if they have them, unless he's driving they can't get on a plane without them and don't sign for them either. I know everyone is suppose to have a passport to cross the borders, but that only works for honest people. 4) If you're afraid that he will cart them off in the night, get a restraining order so he has to leave the house, then change the locks and buy a big dog. Stand up to him. If he gives you guff, call the cops. Then watch his face when they ask him for his green card.
