Confirmation of my USA residency Can a Canadian immigration judge check the status of my residency in USA?I had an interview with one last week FOR MY CANADIAN citizenship and he was asking about my USA residency.I told him i had aboundoned it a few years ago.

Well asking about your US stay is totally okay. That will help the immagration judge determine what kind of a life you had in America. Some people run away from a life they had ,due to the wrong they did in life. So don't feel you are the only one being looked into. As long as your okay you should be good . Well good luck to you and hopefully , immagration would have no problem welcoming you in as a citizen.
