I hope not.I just saw the John Macain ad this morning...has all these AZ sherifs....they talked about the President not doing his job in this area.
Since all this started our economy has improved alot.People are affraid to hire illegal aliens now and they are not taking away from the citizens as much.
Its not just the economy that this law helps.It is actually in the best intrests of the Illegal aliens too.Human trafficing is very bad here and they are treated like crap by the Coyotes.

Of course the US government will win. Whether you believe they are doing a good job on border security or not, the court has always ruled that the states cannot usurp their authority.

I happen to believe they don't care about border security because they want business to get what they want, cheap labor. But the courts will not encroach on this power of the Federal Government to regulate, because states could interfere with treaties and arrangements between the nations.

As the law is written the federal Governments case that AZ is overstepping states rights is not a valid argument.
They will of course tie it up in court for so long that the feds can catch up to what an obvious majority wish for. This will end up in the supreme court eventually but will not be allowed to go into effect until the court rules. They do not want ICE to be caught letting some illegal loose after they are apprehended breaking the law in Arizona. That would be a serious smudge on their honor.
-furthermore the idea that AZ business' want to hire illegal aliens for cheap labor is bass ackwards. Their is already an Arizona law called E-verify that we must follow or be fined and possibly loose your busness licence. so all the illegals that are working have stolen someones Identification and must be paid as much as anyone else.
-Full disclosure I must state that since E-verify has been in effect it is hard to find any unskilled labor at any price. there are a few kids that are working their way through school but I have friends in the landscape busness that say the turnover rate is under a week.
-So if you wish to sponsor an illegal just send them your social security card. You could get lots of points toward your retirement. (although the way E-verify works you have to be registered as paying taxes here also so out of state posers need not apply.)
