Friend has I-hold My lady friend is legal permanent residence (She has a green card) living in Tulsa. Recently she has been charged with procuring protitution, and is pending awaits her preliminary hearing. She has hired an attorney (specialized criminal att.) and plead not guilty. She's still in custody (Tulsa county detention center). Her attorney told her they had placed an Immigration-hold on her so she won't be able to bail bond. My question: Do we need to get immigration lawyer for her to get bail-out, and if she is dismiss by the court, will the I-hold be lifted ? |
