How do we?

My husband and i have been married for more than two years. He is an australian and i am an american. He came here and we filed the papers for immigration so he could stay here in the usa. However, when we had our hearing, because he had a record in australia from over 15 years ago for being in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, we were told we would need to send in a copy of the arrest record and *most people get that info off the internet*. He then called over to australia and the info was emailed to us. I then copied it and sent it off to hls. Months later we got a denial letter for his 485, *because we sent in a copy*. We never received a letter from them stating this is what we sent and this is what they want. I then paid two immigration lawyers for direction and was informed by both that we could appeal once we got the removal letter...Well, it never came....he was picked up by ice and put in detention and deported back to australia. I am trying to put the pieces together to get him back, it looks like a long battle. We are both 55 years of age. He is unable to find work over there and no vechicle or license to even go search. I am now sending over $1200.00 month so he can at least have a place to live. Being apart is bad enough let alone the financial crisis we are now facing. I am a registered nurse and from everything i have read, i am to old to get a skilled visa. We just want to live whatever years we have left together and am looking for some help..t
