I was once off work for 3 months and went to Ancestry.com. I found my ancesters and documents on marriages, deaths and found my grandfather's signature among other things. There are many links there that give you tips and tricks and other websites that gives you lots of tools to look up what you know. Also Ancestry.com gives you a trial membership for free. Have fun, I did!
