INS deportation

My husband was deported in 12/2001 for 10 yrs - unfortunately he was just recently arrested in 5/30 for DUI, unlicensed driver and 0.08 or her alcohol level. Seems like he also has 2 other charges for DUI in 1999 in which he was arrested but booked under a different name The courts have just matched him with the charges. INS has a hold on him and I can not post bail.
I spent over 7 thousand dollars last time on a immigration lawyer. We lost the case he lost his LPR for stealing a bicycle when he was 18 (served 4 mo in jail) and placed under probation. He unfortunately a couple of month afer received stolen property and this violated his probabtion. He was deported under this circustances a couple of years after we married. I was unfortunately not aware of this stuff. My question is - does he have a chance not to be dpeorte again? We were just recently going to appeal his 1st deportation so he can come back. Unfortunately he did not obey the 10 yr mark - is it worth it? NOw he has broken the 10 yr mark and has 3 DUI charges HELP - do I spend more money? We have one son together 6 yrs old and my son which is 14 yrs old. I met my husband when my oldest was 2 yrs old. We've been married for 10.5 yrs and togheter for 12. HELP

He needs to be deported! He is a criminal - not only for being in this country illegally but for the SEVERAL other charges you mentioned above. You sound like a good hearted person and he has taken advantage of your generosity and kindness. Let them deport him. Divorce him and find yourself a law abiding citizen to marry that will take care of you for once instead of relying on you to take care of him!
People like him are the reason so many Americans feel strongly against illegal immigration. "he did not obey the 10 yr mark" - big surprise. What a waste of tax dollars.

I'm sorry, but with his big criminal record and legal status, he is not going to have an opportunity to re-enter or stay in the United States. Not only does he have a criminal record, but he did not obey the "10 year" mark which is a much bigger penalty. If he was here with a clean record, just working with no criminal record, he may have a slight chance. Please don't wast any more money because it isn't worth it. I know it is very hard since you have children together, but he should have made better decisions. Yo tengo muchos amigos que son illegales asi que me cuentan muchas cosas de eso. Es una lastima. Buena suerte con todo.

The only reason why I feel this is the best answere is that in a way I agree with you - if someone is here illegaly I feel very strong that they come to make a difference for them and there family. One thing I do want to clear up is that not all illegal alliens are this way. My parents came in the 40's became citizens and have obeyed the law. My mom rec'd her PHD in Medicine and my father is a Chef. They are both retired now but because of them I am who I am. I was born here and was able to go to school here and receive a good education. I have since got my AA (still working on my BA then masters) I just wanted to clear that.
Thank you for calling me a good hearted person - I have been told that in many occasions but you are right this should be the last straw - I spend to much money and this is god's will. For 11 years of our marriage I have been the back bone of his mistakes, helped him in any way I can and for the 1st time I am unable to do something. My mom said it's god's will - so be it.
Thank you so much - I am very sad but I am a strong - if for all this years I managed to hold a household work 3 jobs and not depend on him or his money I will be fine! Maybe if I continue telling myself that I will start to believe it? Thank you again

Good for you. Be strong. Do it for your kids and yourself. They need to see you take charge and do what needs to be done for yourself! You can do it, and you will wonder why you waited so long.
