I believe that the immigration laws are bad. I think the border should be manned better. Having said that, the states do not have the right to change immigration laws. If I were hispanic and lived in Arizona, I would not want to be pulled over just because of how I looked. That is not right.
So, immigration laws are bad, and they would be helped by a worker program. Yet, there is not much will in congress to even deal with that issue.

California under governor wilson, and texas after, passed similar laws as arizona's latest immigration law, both disputed and eventually thrown out the window by the federal government. i would like some background history about those two failed attempts prior to the present one.
